Formal courses and workshops, as well as on-site practical courses are offered. Mentorship and trainee programmes with a strong emphasis on design, workflow, implementation, integration, support and maintenance are also hosted in partnership with the University of Johannesburg.

  The full range of technical and operational courses offered on the Avid Learning Excellerator web-based learning portal are facilitated on-site at our customers’ premises or at Spescom’s Midrand offices by qualified trainers.
  
  Avid tutorials and courses cover: workgroups and broadcast, film and video editing, on-air graphics/play to air, and unity shared storage.
  
  These courses are tailored to meet the needs of different role players, from workgroup managers to workgroup administrators, engineers, maintenance personnel, newsroom administrators, lead editors and media managers.
